Sizing and fit
The Siemens 3RT2327-1AK60 is a SIRIUS contactor in the S0 frame size, measuring 85 mm high, 60 mm wide, and 97 mm deep. This footprint slots into standard panel layouts alongside other S0 components without surprises — the 97 mm depth clears shallow enclosures and leaves room for front-access wiring.
Wiring and mounting
Main contacts accept stranded wire from 1 to 10 mm²; auxiliary terminals accept solid or stranded 2x (0.5–1.5 mm²) and 2x (0.75–2.5 mm²). The coil connection uses screw-type terminals — no special tooling needed. Mounting is via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per EN 60715; the contactor can be rotated ±180° on a vertical surface and tilted ±22.5° forward or backward, handy when a cabinet forces a non-level rail.
Environmental tolerance
Rated for operation from -25 to +60 °C and storage from -55 to +80 °C. That spans a mill's hot machine room and cold storage warehouse without derating concerns. The contactor also survives the typical vibration and humidity of a pulp and paper line — no special enclosure required beyond the usual IP-grade cabinet.
