S0 Frame, DIN Rail Mount — Panel Fit Constraints
The 3RT2327-1AP60 is a SIRIUS S0-frame contactor, 60 mm wide and 97 mm deep. That depth keeps it within the standard S0 enclosure back-panel clearance — no extra standoff needed for the coil terminals. Mounting is via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. The mounting position allows +/-180° rotation on a vertical surface and +/-22.5° tilt forward/backward — useful when the contactor sits on a swing panel or a door-mounted subplate. Clearance requirements: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, and 6 mm at the side. These are the minimum air gaps for arc-quenching and heat dissipation; crowding the side clearance below 6 mm risks flashover between adjacent contactors on the same rail.
Auxiliary Contact Ratings — Switching Capacity Across the Voltage Band
The built-in auxiliary switch is rated for AC operation across a wide voltage range: 10 A at 24 V and 230 V, 6 A at 60 V, 3 A at 400 V, down to 0.1 A at 600 V. The 230 V rating matches standard control-circuit voltages in European panels; the 400 V rating covers interposing relays in motor control centres. At 48 V the contact is rated 2 A, at 110 V it is 1 A, at 125 V it is 0.9 A, at 500 V it is 2 A. These figures follow the typical AC-15 utilisation category for electromagnetic loads — the contact can switch solenoid valves and small relay coils within these limits without welding. The coil connection uses screw-type terminals accepting solid wire 2x (0.5...1.5 mm²) and 2x (0.75...2.5 mm²). Stranded main power wiring goes up to 10 mm². The terminal layout is standard for the S0 frame — no special tooling required beyond a Pozidriv screwdriver.
Lifecycle and Sourcing — Current Production, Quoted to Order
Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C during operation, with storage from -55 to +80 °C. This covers most indoor panel environments and unheated warehouses. The arcing time is 10...10 ms — a single fixed value, meaning the arc extinguishes within one mains half-cycle at 50 Hz.
