SIRIUS Size S0 Contactor with 110 VDC Coil
The Siemens 3RT2327-2BF40 is a SIRIUS Size S0 contactor with a 110 VDC coil and spring-type terminals on the coil connection. It is a current-production part. The DC switching ratings tell you what it can handle across common control voltages: 10 A at 24 VDC, 6 A at 60 VDC, 1 A at 110 VDC, and 0.1 A at 600 VDC. That covers most DC motor brake circuits, solenoid valves, and DC bus precharge contactors you'll see in a panel. It mounts on 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, either screw-fixed or snapped on. The mounting position is flexible — ±180° rotation on a vertical surface, plus ±22.5° tilt forward/backward — which helps when you're squeezing it into a crowded enclosure.
Panel Fit and Wiring
The Size S0 footprint is 60 mm wide, 102 mm tall, 107 mm deep. The spring-type coil terminals accept 2x (0.5 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded, and the main contact terminals take 1 to 10 mm² stranded. Clearance distances: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, 6 mm at the side. That's tight enough for most DIN-rail layouts, but check your side clearance if you're stacking auxiliary contact blocks — the contactor accepts up to 2 attachable auxiliary switches. Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C, storage from -55 to +80 °C. The mechanical life is rated at 10 million operations typical, so this is a fast mover for high-cycle applications like conveyor controls and packaging machinery.
Sourcing and Lifecycle
This is a current-production SIRIUS contactor, not a phase-out or NRND line. It's available through independent distribution; we source and quote it to order against an RFQ. Volume pricing and lead time are confirmed at quote time — no surprises when you're filling a BOM.
