SIRIUS 3RT2336-1AF00 — S2 Contactor, AC Coil
The contactor mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, and its 75 mm width, 114 mm height, and 130 mm depth fit standard panel layouts with side-by-side mounting permitted.
Clearance and Mounting Flexibility
Forwards and upwards clearance is 10 mm each, downwards also 10 mm, and side clearance is 6 mm — these are the minimum free-air gaps around the contactor for heat dissipation and arc quenching.
Switching Performance and Contact Ratings
Main contacts are rated for 18 A to 1 A. The contactor's mechanical life is typically 10,000,000 operations. Arcing time is 10 to 20 ms, and AC switching time is 10 to 18 ms. One instantaneous auxiliary contact is included, and up to 2 additional auxiliary switches can be attached.
Auxiliary Contact Ratings Across Voltages
The auxiliary switch (present on this unit) carries rated currents that vary by voltage: 10 A at 24 V AC, 10 A at 230 V AC, 6 A at 60 V, 3 A at 400 V, 2 A at 48 V and 500 V, 1 A at 110 V and 690 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 0.1 A at 600 V. These ratings define the auxiliary contact's switching capability for control circuits, signal lamps, or PLC inputs at the respective system voltages.
Environmental and Wiring Specs
The main contact terminals accept solid or stranded conductors: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) and 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²). The coil terminals are screw-type, and the power factor at 50 Hz is 0.37.
