SIRIUS Size S3 Contactor — 24 V AC Coil, Screw Terminals
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT2346-1AC20 is a Size S3 contactor with a 24 V AC coil rated for both 50 Hz and 60 Hz operation. It carries 2 NO and 2 NC main contacts, with screw-type terminals on the coil and main circuit. The contactor mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, with screw and snap-on fastening; the mounting position allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface and ±22.5° tilt forward/backward, giving panel builders flexibility in tight enclosures. Rated operational currents span the auxiliary contact range: 10 A at 24 V, 6 A at 60 V, 6 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, and 2 A at 500 V. The arcing time falls between 10 and 20 ms for AC loads, and the contactor withstands shock at 10.6 g / 5 ms and 6.3 g / 10 ms for DC conditions.
