Panel fit and wiring constraints
The 3RT2348-1AB00 is a SIRIUS size S3 contactor, 96 mm wide, 140 mm tall, and 152 mm deep. The forward clearance of 20 mm is the one to watch when the panel door or busbars are close. Power wiring accepts stranded conductors from 6 to 70 mm². That 70 mm² upper end on the mains means it handles a solid feed without needing a reducer.
Coil and contact ratings
The coil is 24 VAC at 50 Hz, with a power factor of 0.38 at 50 Hz. Operating time at AC is 10 to 21 ms; arcing time runs 10 to 20 ms. That 24 VAC coil is common in North American control transformers — if your panel runs 24 VDC, this is the wrong coil voltage. One instantaneous auxiliary contact is built in. Mechanical endurance is 10 million operating cycles typical. The 10 million cycle figure means it outlasts most machines it will sit in.
