Siemens 3RT2348-1AK60 — SIRIUS Size S3 Contactor
It mounts via screw fixing or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, with a mounting position that allows +/-180° rotation on a vertical surface and +/-22.5° tilt forward/backward — useful when panel layout forces an unconventional orientation. Rated switching capacity varies by voltage: 10 A at 24 V AC, 6 A at 60 V AC and at 230 V AC, 3 A at 400 V AC, and 2 A at 500 V AC. At 600 V AC the rating drops to 0.1 A — the contactor is not intended for high-voltage low-current signal switching at that level. The main contact solid/stranded wire range accepts 6 to 70 mm², while auxiliary terminals take 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) solid or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) stranded. An auxiliary switch is included as standard.
Panel Integration
At 152 mm deep, 96 mm wide, and 140 mm tall, the S3 frame fits standard 600 mm deep enclosures with clearance for wiring and arc chutes. The screw and snap-on DIN rail mount means no drilling — clips engage the 35 mm rail and the screw terminals accept the main cable range without lug adapters.
