SIRIUS S00 contactor – 24 VDC coil, 10 A, spring-cage
The Siemens 3RT2516-2AP60 is a SIRIUS contactor in the S00 frame size, with a 24 VDC coil rated at 10 A. It uses spring-cage terminals (2x 0.5–4 mm² solid/stranded) and snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail per EN 50022. Operating range is -25 to +60 °C; storage from -55 to +80 °C. The 45 mm wide body (70 mm height, 73 mm depth) fits tightly in a standard panel layout — side-by-side mounting is allowed with 6 mm clearance to adjacent devices. Mounting position is flexible: ±180° rotation on a vertical surface, or tilted ±22.5° forward/backward.
Wiring & integration
Spring-cage terminals accept 0.5–4 mm² solid or ferruled stranded wire — strip length 8–10 mm. The auxiliary switch block is present. Coil draws 0.25 A at 50/60 Hz. Mechanical life typical 30 million operations.
