SIRIUS 3RT2517-2BB40 — Size S00 Contactor with Spring-Terminal Block
It fastens by screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 50022, and the mounting position allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface plus ±22.5° tilt forward/backward — useful when fitting into a crowded panel where the rail orientation is fixed.
Auxiliary Contact Ratings & Switching Life
The built-in auxiliary switch is rated for 10 A at 24 VDC and 10 A at 230 VAC, with derated curves at intermediate voltages: 2 A at 48/60/125 VDC, 1 A at 110 VDC, 0.3 A at 220 VDC, 3 A at 400 VAC, 0.8 A at 440 VDC, and 0.1 A at 600 VDC. These are the maximum continuous currents the auxiliary contacts can break — for a 24 VDC PLC input circuit the 10 A rating gives generous headroom, but at 125 VDC the 2 A limit means you cannot parallel multiple loads without checking the sum. Mechanical life is typical 30 million operations, with a maximum switching frequency of 10 000 cycles per hour at AC and an arcing time of 10–15 ms at DC.
Environmental Limits & Clearances
Zero clearance required upwards, forwards, backwards, or downwards — so the contactor can be stacked tight against enclosure walls or other components in those directions. The 45 mm width and 70 mm height fit the standard S00 footprint; depth is 73 mm including the spring terminals.
