Integrator's note: SIRIUS S2 contactor, 24 V 50 Hz coil
It carries a 24 V 50 Hz coil and uses screw-type terminals for both the main current circuit and the magnet coil, so all field wiring lands under a screwdriver — no spring-cage tool needed. Mounting is screw-and-snap-on to a 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 50022, with the mounting position flexible: ±180° rotation on a vertical surface and ±22.5° tilt forward or backward. Dimensions are 75 mm wide, 114 mm tall, and 130 mm deep — the S2 frame fits standard 75 mm-wide DIN-rail spacing, leaving room for adjacent devices in a crowded panel row.
Switching capacity and duty
The contactor's switching capacity varies with voltage and duty. At 24 V rated value it switches 10 A; at 230 V rated value it switches 6 A; at 400 V rated value it switches 3 A. For DC switching at lower voltages: 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V. At higher AC voltages: 1 A at 440 V, 2 A at 500 V, 0.1 A at 600 V, 1 A at 690 V. Maximum mechanical switching frequency at AC-1 is 1,200 operations per hour.
Environmental and wiring
Wire terminations accept solid or stranded conductors: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) and 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) per terminal. The screw-type terminals are rated for the main current circuit and the coil circuit identically.
