What this contactor is and where it fits
The Siemens 3RT2535-1NE30 is a SIRIUS contactor in the S2 frame size, built for switching motor loads and resistive loads in industrial control panels. It mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 50022, so it drops into a standard panel layout without extra brackets. The coil is rated 48 to 80 V AC/DC, with screw-type terminals. The contactor is 75 mm wide, 114 mm high, and 130 mm deep.
What the ratings mean for your panel
The mechanical life is rated at 10,000,000 cycles typical. The AC-1 maximum operating rate is 350 operations per hour. Operating temperature range is -40 to +70 °C, which covers most indoor control rooms and outdoor enclosures in temperate climates. Storage range is -55 to +80 °C, so it survives shipping and warehouse extremes. Mounting position allows +/-180° rotation on a vertical surface and can tilt forward/backward by +/-22.5°, giving flexibility in tight enclosures. Clearance requirements: 50 mm above and below, 10 mm to the side, and zero forwards or backwards — so you can pack it close to the backplane or door.
Auxiliary contact ratings and wiring
This contactor includes an auxiliary switch. The auxiliary contact ratings vary by voltage: 10 A at 24 V, 6 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, and 1 A at 440 V. For DC control circuits, it handles 2 A at 48 V or 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, and 0.9 A at 125 V. These ratings let you use the auxiliary for PLC inputs or pilot lights without an extra relay. Terminals accept solid or stranded conductors: 2x 0.5 to 1.5 mm² and 2x 0.75 to 2.5 mm². That covers standard control wiring up to 14 AWG, and the dual-wire capability lets you daisy-chain control power without a separate terminal block.
