Switching capability across the AC voltage range
The contactor is designed specifically for capacitor bank switching, not general motor starting — the inrush handling and arc suppression are tuned for capacitive loads. Maximum switching rate is 180 operations per hour across all voltage ratings from 230 V to 690 V AC.
DIN rail footprint and panel fit
Size S00 frame, 45 mm wide by 125 mm tall by 120 mm deep. At 40 °C ambient, single 4 mm² or 2x 2.5 mm² is permitted; at 60 °C, 2x 4 mm². The coil terminals are screw-type as well.
Temperature range and arc timing
Arc duration is 10...15 ms with an AC arcing time of 4...15 ms — this matters when coordinating upstream short-circuit protection devices, as the let-through energy during capacitor switching can differ from resistive or motor loads.
