The 3RT2625-1AK65: The 110 VAC 50 Hz coil (120 VAC at 60 Hz) pulls in the armature to close the main contacts, which are rated for capacitor inrush currents that would weld a standard contactor's tips.
Terminal capacity and wiring constraints
Stranded conductors: 2×(1…2.5 mm²) or 2×(2.5…10 mm²). At 40 °C ambient, a single 6 mm² conductor is permitted; at 60 °C, a single 10 mm² or 2×6 mm². The 45 mm width and 135 mm height fit standard S0 contactor spacing on the DIN rail. Depth is 155 mm, which includes the arc chamber and terminal clearance — account for this when laying out the gland plate and door swing.
Operating envelope and switching frequency
The switching frequency for capacitor duty is 180 operations per hour at 230 V, 400 V, 480 V, 500 V, and 600 V, dropping to 150 ops/h at 690 V. Auxiliary contact blocks are attachable (0 supplied) — the contactor has no built-in aux contacts. Add a SIRIUS side-mount block if feedback to the PLC or status indication is needed.
