The Siemens 3RT2625-1AP65 is a SIRIUS capacitor contactor, Size S0, built specifically for switching capacitor banks in power-factor correction panels. The 45 mm width and 155 mm depth fit standard enclosure gland-plate layouts; the 135 mm height leaves headroom for busbar stacks above.
The coil holds at 6 A at 24 V, drops to 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 6 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, and 1 A at 690 V. These are the steady-state draws; the inrush peak is higher but the contactor's arcing time is 10 ms, so the transient is short.
Switching capacity and thermal limits
Rated for capacitor switching at AC voltages up to 690 V. Maximum switching rate is 180 operations per hour at 230 V through 600 V; at 690 V it drops to 150 1/h.
Solid conductors: 2x 0.5…1.5 mm², 2x 0.75…2.5 mm², or 2x 4 mm². Stranded: 2x 1…2.5 mm² or 2x 2.5…10 mm². At 40 °C ambient, a single 6 mm² solid is accepted; at 60 °C, 1x 10 mm² or 2x 6 mm². The screw terminals are the same type as the coil — consistent tooling for the panel builder.
