Capacitor switching duty and coil control
The 3RT2625-1BB45: This is a SIRIUS capacitor contactor — designed specifically for switching capacitor banks in power factor correction panels. The DC magnet coil at 24 V draws 6 A at that voltage, with the holding current sustained by the DC bus rather than an AC coil's inrush. Maximum switching frequency is 180 operations per hour at voltages up to 600 V, dropping to 150 operations per hour at 690 V. The arcing time is 10 ms, and the opening/closing time at DC is 15–18 ms.
Panel fit and terminal sizing
The S0 frame measures 45 mm wide, 135 mm high, 165 mm deep — fits standard panel layouts without crowding adjacent devices. At 40 °C ambient, single 6 mm² solid is allowed; at 60 °C, single 10 mm² or 2x 6 mm².
