What the ratings mean for your panel
The 3RT2627-1AC25 is a SIRIUS capacitor contactor in size S0 — the compact frame for switching capacitor banks up to the rated currents. It switches 6 A at 230 V AC, 3 A at 400 V AC, and 1 A at 690 V AC, so the voltage on the line determines the current ceiling. The AC coil draws 6 A at 24 V and 0.3 A at 220 V — the coil consumption drops as the control voltage rises. The coil type is AC only; a DC coil variant would be a different order code. Mounting is screw-and-snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 50022. The 45 mm width and 135 mm height fit standard S0 contactor spacing; the 155 mm depth leaves room for wiring behind the rail.
Terminal capacity and wiring
Screw-type terminals accept solid conductors: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or 2x 4 mm². Stranded conductors: 2x (1 to 2.5 mm²) or 2x (2.5 to 10 mm²). At 40 °C ambient, one 10 mm² conductor is allowed; at 60 °C, two 10 mm² conductors are permitted. The arcing time is 10 ms, and the make/break times at AC are 4 to 16 ms — fast enough for capacitor switching without excessive inrush stress on the contacts.
