What this contactor is and where it lands
The Siemens 3RT2627-1NP35 is a SIRIUS 3RT2 contactor with a 200–280 V AC/DC coil, rated for 50/60 Hz supply. It mounts via screw and snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 50022, fitting standard enclosure backplates. The coil uses screw-type terminals, and the contactor accepts solid conductors up to 2x 4 mm² or stranded up to 2x 10 mm².
Coil and switching performance
Coil operating range spans 200–280 V at 50/60 Hz (pickup threshold 0.7 x rated, dropout 1.3 x rated). Switching times are 30–50 ms for both AC and DC operation. Arcing time is 10 ms. Maximum switching frequency is 100 operations per hour at 230–600 V, dropping to 72 per hour at 690 V.
Environmental and mounting flexibility
Operating temperature is -25 to +60 °C; storage range is -55 to +80 °C. The contactor can be mounted in any orientation within ±180° rotation on a vertical surface, and tilted forward/backward by ±22.5°. This flexibility matters when fitting into tight nacelle or cabinet layouts where the DIN rail isn't perfectly level.
