The Siemens 3RT2628-1AP05 is a SIRIUS capacitor contactor for switching capacitor banks in power factor correction panels, sized for the S0 frame. It mounts on 35 mm DIN rail via screw and snap-on method, orientation flexible: ±180° rotation and ±22.5° tilt on a vertical surface — suited for enclosures where vibration and mounting constraints are a factor. Screw-type coil terminals accept solid wire: up to 2x 4 mm² per clamp, or 2x 0.5–1.5 mm² and 2x 0.75–2.5 mm² combinations. Stranded wire up to 2x 10 mm² fits. Rated operating ambient -25 to +60 °C; storage -55 to +80 °C.
