Switching Ratings and Duty Cycle
Rated for 6 A at both 24 V and 230 V AC, with a drop to 3 A at 400 V and 0 A at 690 V — the contactor is sized for low-to-medium voltage capacitor banks, not motor switching. Maximum switching frequency is 100 operations per hour at 230 V and 400 V, derating to 30 per hour at 690 V — relevant for frequent cycling in harmonic filter stages.
The magnet coil uses screw-type terminals. Solid conductor capacity covers 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), and 2x 4 mm². Stranded connections accept 2x (10 to 35 mm²) or 1x (10 to 50 mm²). At 40 °C ambient, a single 35 mm² conductor is sufficient; at 60 °C, step up to 50 mm² for the same current path.
