The Siemens 3RT2916-1JK00-ZX90 is a SIRIUS-brand varistor-type surge suppressor with an integrated LED indicator, designed to clip onto size S00 contactors and relays. It suppresses voltage spikes from the coil circuit, protecting downstream electronics and extending contactor life. Rated for AC control voltages from 48 to 127 V at 50/60 Hz and DC from 24 to 70 V, it covers the common control-voltage range for industrial panels running 48 V, 110 V, or 120 V AC coils, as well as 24 V DC coils. The clip-on fastening method means it snaps directly onto the contactor without extra DIN-rail space — useful when panel density is tight. Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C, storage -40 to +80 °C.
Dimensions and mounting
At 9 mm depth, 28 mm width, and 46 mm height, this suppressor adds negligible depth to the contactor stack. It mounts in any position, which simplifies layout in crowded enclosures.
