Fit and function for the S00 panel
The 3RT2916-1JP00-ZX90: This is a varistor-based surge suppressor, part of the SIRIUS family, designed to clamp voltage spikes on the DC control coil of S00-size contactors and contactor relays. Its 9 mm depth and 28 mm width mean it clips onto the DIN rail alongside the contactor without stealing extra panel space — that's another SKU that fits the same footprint as the base device. Rated for DC control supply voltages from 150 to 250 V, it covers the common 220 VDC and 250 VDC control bus rails found in industrial panels. The LED indicator gives a quick visual on suppressor health — useful during commissioning and fault-finding without breaking out a meter.
Environmental and mounting notes
Operating temperature range of -25 to +60°C and storage range of -40 to +80°C cover most indoor panel environments, including unheated warehouses. Clip-on fastening to DIN rail with any mounting position allowed — no orientation restrictions to complicate the panel layout.
