The Siemens 3RT2926-1CD00-ZX90 is a surge suppressor with RC elements, designed to clip onto SIRIUS contactors of size S0. It handles a control supply voltage range of AC 127-240 V and DC 150-250 V, making it suited for both AC and DC coil circuits found in mixed-voltage panels.
The voltage ranges — AC 127-240 V and DC 150-250 V — define the coil-supply window the suppressor will clamp transients across. If your contactor coil is driven from a 230 V AC control transformer or a 220 V DC bus, this unit covers both without a separate variant. The RC (resistor-capacitor) design reduces electromagnetic emissions from the coil, which is useful when the contactor shares a panel with sensitive electronics like a PLC or VFD. Physical fit is specific to SIRIUS size S0 contactors. The suppressor clips onto the contactor's coil terminals, adding 12 mm depth, 30 mm width, and 19 mm height to the assembly. It mounts in any position and fastens via the clip-on method, so no additional DIN-rail space is consumed.
