The 3RT2927-2PA11 is a pneumatically time-delayed auxiliary switch block from the Siemens SIRIUS family, designed as an ON-delay timer with an adjustable pickup delay from 10 to 180 seconds, providing one normally-open and one normally-closed auxiliary contact.
The delay block carries rated operational currents across multiple control voltages: 4 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V, 0.7 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 6 A at 230 V, 4 A at 400 V, 0.15 A at 440 V, 2.5 A at 500 V, and 1.5 A at 690 V. These are the contact ratings for the auxiliary switch — not the coil draw — so the block can switch pilot devices, relays, or PLC inputs at those levels. The AC-12 maximum rating is 10 A, which covers resistive loads like signal lamps or solenoid valves within the same circuit. Short-circuit protection for the auxiliary switch requires a gG 10 A fuse at 1 kA prospective short-circuit current per IEC 60947-5-1. The mechanical service life is rated at 3 million switching cycles typical, and the operating temperature range is 0 to 60 °C, with storage from -50 to +80 °C. The delay accuracy is ±10 % of the set time.
Connection is via screw-type terminals accepting solid or stranded wire: 2x 0.5 to 1.5 mm² and 2x 0.75 to 2.5 mm² (or 2x 18–14 AWG and 2x 20–16 AWG). The block measures 45 mm wide, 45 mm tall, and 60 mm deep — the same footprint as the S0 contactor itself, so it does not increase the panel width. Mounting position is any orientation; the clip-on fastening method means it snaps onto the contactor without tools.
