Siemens 3RT5046-1AM00 SIRIUS Power Contactor
The Siemens 3RT5046-1AM00 is a SIRIUS power contactor in size S3, designed for switching three-phase motors and resistive loads in industrial control panels. It carries an AC-3 rating of 45 kW at 400 V, making it a direct fit for 45 kW motor starters on 400 VAC networks. The coil is wound for 220 V at 50 Hz, with a pull-in power factor of 0.27. Screw terminals on both main and auxiliary circuits simplify field wiring with solid or stranded conductors up to 16 mm² (2x per pole).
Mounting and Panel Integration
Snap-on mounting onto 35 mm or 75 mm standard DIN rail, with screw fixing as an option. Side-by-side mounting is permitted with no derating — useful for compact motor starter assemblies. The contactor can be rotated ±180° on a vertical surface and tilted ±22.5° forward or backward, giving flexibility in tight enclosures. Dimensions are 70 mm wide, 146 mm high, 139 mm deep.
