The 3RT5066-6AR36: Mounting is by screw fixing. The contactor accepts a vertical mounting surface, rotatable ±90°, and tiltable ±22.5° to the front and back. Side-by-side mounting is permitted. Minimum conductor cross-section for the main circuit is 185 mm² at both 40 °C and 60 °C, with AWG cables from 2/0 to 500 kcmil. Dimensions are 210 mm high, 145 mm wide, and 202 mm deep.
Switching frequency and auxiliary contact ratings
Maximum switching frequency at AC-1 duty is 750 operations per hour; at AC-3 it is 500 operations per hour; at AC-4 it is 130 operations per hour. The contactor is rated for 2000 operations per hour at both AC and DC. Auxiliary contact ratings: 6 A at 24 V, 6 A at 230 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 3 A at 400 V. The surge suppressor design uses a varistor.
