RC element for S2/S3 contactor coils
The 3RT5936-1CC00 is a SIRIUS RC surge suppressor designed to mount directly onto Siemens contactor sizes S2 and S3, suppressing voltage spikes from the coil when de-energized.
Voltage range and control supply flexibility
The dual AC/DC rating means the same suppressor works on a 48 V AC panel or a 110 V DC control bus without swapping parts — the RC network is sized for both waveforms. At 50 Hz the range is 48-127 V; at 60 Hz it is 127-48 V, reflecting the same voltage window expressed in the order of the spec table.
This RC suppressor is a standard accessory for the SIRIUS contactor range — it clips onto the contactor's coil terminals, so no additional wiring or panel space is needed beyond the contactor itself.
