The 24 VDC coil draws 6 A at rated voltage, so verify your control transformer or DC supply can handle that inrush without dropping below the 18 V dropout threshold. Screw terminals on the main circuit accept 2x 0.5–2.5 mm² stranded or 2x 4 mm² solid — standard for panel wiring.
Motor duty and switching capacity
Rated for AC-3 motor duty at 690 V maximum, this contactor handles a 3-phase motor up to 10.5 kW at 400 V and 18 kW at 690 V. The AC-1 resistive rating hits 10 A at 230 V. Mechanical life is 10 million cycles; electrical life under typical AC-3 use runs 30 million operations. Maximum switching frequency is 1 000 cycles/hour in AC-1 and 750 cycles/hour in AC-3 — fast enough for most conveyor and pump cycling, but not for high-speed pick-and-place.
Dimensions: 45 mm wide, 57.5 mm tall, 73 mm deep — fits a standard 45 mm DIN-rail slot. Screw terminals accept 2x 0.5–1.5 mm², 2x 0.75–2.5 mm², or 2x 4 mm² solid/stranded. Minimum wire size at 40 °C and 60 °C is 2.5 mm² for the main circuit.
