What this 110 V coil contactor fits
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT6017-1BF42 is a size S00 power contactor with a 110 V AC coil, screw-type terminals for both main and auxiliary circuits, and a 45 mm wide footprint that snaps onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 50022. Rated insulation voltage is 690 V, and the AC-3 / AC-3e switching voltage maxes out at 690 V as well, so it handles 400 V motor loads with headroom for 690 V applications where the load is within the current limits. Motor power at 400 V and 60 °C ambient is 13 kW, and at 690 V it reaches 22 kW — figures that assume the contactor is mounted with proper side-by-side spacing (side-by-side mounting is permitted) and wired with the minimum conductor sizes specified for the ambient temperature.
This helps when fitting into tight gland-plate layouts or existing panel cutouts. Screw terminals accept 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or 2x 4 mm² solid or stranded — or 2x (20 to 16), 2x (18 to 14), or 2x 12 AWG. At 40 °C minimum conductor is 4 mm²; at 60 °C it's 2.5 mm².
No direct manufacturer replacement has been announced; the 3RT6017 size S00 platform is the active design. If you're cross-referencing a 3RT6017-1AF01 (same frame, different coil), the mechanical fit and terminal layout are identical — only the coil voltage changes.
