Side-by-side mounting is permitted, so multiple contactors pack tightly on the rail without mandatory spacing. Screw-type terminals on the main current circuit accept 2x (0.5–1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75–2.5 mm²), or 2x 4 mm² solid or stranded wire. At 40 °C ambient, minimum 4 mm² is permissible; at 60 °C, minimum 2.5 mm². The S00 footprint (45 × 57.5 × 73 mm) fits compact control panels.
Coil drive and switching performance
Coil holding current at 24 V rated value is 6 A, dropping to 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 0.25 A at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz. At 230 V the coil draws 10 A; at 400 V it draws 3 A; at 690 V it draws 1 A. These values govern the control transformer sizing and PLC output drive capability. Rated for 10,000 switching operations per hour at AC, with AC-1 maximum at 1,000 1/h, AC-3 maximum at 750 1/h, and AC-4 maximum at 250 1/h. The mechanical endurance is 30,000,000 operations typical, so the contactor outlasts the panel in most cyclic applications.
