The S00 frame — 45 mm wide, 57.5 mm tall, 73 mm deep — leaves room for auxiliary contact blocks alongside, since this contactor accepts add-on switches.
Motor duty and thermal limits
Rated AC-3 at 690 V maximum; AC-3e carries the same ceiling. At 60 °C ambient — typical inside a sealed enclosure — the motor power ratings drop to 7.5 kW at 230 V, 13 kW at 400 V, 22 kW at 690 V. Those are the numbers to use for a real panel thermal analysis, not the 40 °C values.
Wiring and panel fit
Screw terminals on main and auxiliary circuits accept 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or a single 4 mm² solid/stranded conductor. For AWG: 2x (20 to 16), 2x (18 to 14), or single 12 AWG. Minimum cross-section at 40 °C is 4 mm²; at 60 °C it's 2.5 mm² — the higher temperature demands thicker wire to keep terminal temperatures within limits. Side-by-side mounting is permitted — no mandatory gap between units, which helps pack more contactors per DIN-rail meter.
