The 3RT6025-1BM40: This SIRIUS power contactor is rated for AC-3 and AC-3e duty up to 690 V, which covers the common 400 V and 690 V industrial motor circuits without needing to oversize the contactor for voltage headroom. At 60 °C ambient — the temperature you actually see inside a closed panel in summer — it still delivers 23 kW at 400 V and 40 kW at 690 V, so the rating isn't just a 40 °C number that collapses when the panel warms up.
Terminal specs and wiring capacity
AWG equivalents for the main contacts are 2x (16…12) or 2x (14…8), so it plays nice with North American wire sizes as well as metric.
Operating envelope and mechanical life
Rated for 10 million mechanical operations typical, with a switching rate up to 1,000 cycles/hour in AC-3 and AC-3e duty, and 300 cycles/hour in AC-4 (the heavy jogging/reversing duty).
Coil drive and auxiliary options
