The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT6026-1BF40 is a size S0 power contactor with a 110 V AC coil, rated for motor switching at 23 kW on 400 V AC-3 duty and 13.3 kW on 230 V. The AC-3 maximum switching voltage is 690 V, and the rated insulation voltage matches at 690 V — pollution degree 3 environment. Screw terminals on both main and auxiliary circuits; wire range accepts 2x 0.5 to 2.5 mm² solid or stranded, or 2x 16 to 8 AWG. Mechanical life is 10 million cycles typical.
Mounting and panel integration
Fastens via screw and snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 50022. Width is 45 mm, depth 107 mm, height 85 mm — fits standard S0 footprint. Mounting position allows ±180° rotation on a vertical surface and ±22.5° tilt forward/backward. Side-by-side mounting is permitted without derating gaps.
Switching rates and duty cycles
Maximum switching rates: 1,000 cycles/hour at AC-1, 750 cycles/hour at AC-3 and AC-3e, 250 cycles/hour at AC-4, and 1,500 cycles/hour at DC. Operating temperature range -25 to +60 °C; storage -55 to +80 °C.
Auxiliary and control circuit details
The control circuit is rated 110 V AC; at that voltage the coil draws 1 A. At 24 V the draw is 6 A; at 220 V it's 0.3 A; at 230 V it's 10 A; at 400 V it's 3 A; at 690 V it's 1 A. The contactor accepts an auxiliary switch extension (product extension auxiliary switch: yes).
