Motor duty and thermal limits
Rated for AC-3 (squirrel-cage motor starting) and AC-3e (enhanced electrical endurance) duty, the contactor handles 5 000 operating cycles per hour at AC, with a maximum of 1 000/h at AC-1 and 750/h at AC-3. The AC-4 maximum of 250/h covers plugging and inching applications. The 60 °C power ratings (15.5 kW at 230 V, 27.5 kW at 400 V, 47.5 kW at 690 V) mean no additional derating is needed for panels running warm — a practical advantage when the contactor shares a cabinet with drives or transformers.
Coil and auxiliary ratings
The 24 V AC 50/60 Hz coil draws 0.25 A at 50 Hz and 0.28 A at 60 Hz. Auxiliary contacts are rated 6 A at 24 V, 10 A at 230 V, and 3 A at 400 V — sufficient for direct PLC interfacing or small relay loads. Insulation voltage is rated 690 V with pollution degree 3, and the screw-type main circuit terminals accept up to 10 mm² conductors (minimum 10 mm² at 40 °C and 60 °C).
