Mounting and integration — what fits where
The 45 mm width (S0 frame) is a standard slot — three of these side-by-side take 135 mm, which fits a typical 200 mm wide enclosure gland plate. The screw terminals on the main circuit accept 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded wire — common for control wiring up to the 10 mm² minimum permissible at 40 °C for the power circuit.
The built-in auxiliary contact block is rated 6 A at 24 V, 10 A at 230 V, and 3 A at 400 V — so for a 24 VDC PLC output driving the coil, you're good for 6 A, which covers most pilot-duty solenoids and contactor coils. The 690 V rated insulation voltage matches the main circuit, so the aux contacts share the same isolation class as the power path.
Switching frequency and mechanical life — route-duty expectations
For AC-3 motor switching (the common case), the maximum is 750 operations per hour; AC-4 (plugging/inching) drops to 250 per hour. If your application cycles a conveyor motor every 10 seconds, that's 360 per hour — within the AC-3 limit. The 5,000 operations per hour at AC rating is the no-load mechanical maximum, so don't plan on switching a motor that fast.
