Mounting and Integration
The 3RT6028-1AN20: Snap-on mounting onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 50022, or screw-fixed. S0 frame — 45 mm wide, 85 mm tall, 97 mm deep. Side-by-side mounting allowed, so no forced gaps between contactors in a multi-motor panel. Mounting position flexible: ±180° rotation on a vertical surface, plus ±22.5° tilt forward/backward. Screw terminals accept 2x 0.5–1.5 mm² or 2x 0.75–2.5 mm² solid or stranded.
Switching Performance and Thermal Limits
Rated for 5,000 operations per hour at AC, with AC-1 max at 1,000 1/h and AC-3/AC-3e max at 750 1/h. AC-4 max is 250 1/h — that's the plugging/inching duty cycle, so keep that in mind if the application involves frequent reversing. Operating temperature -25 to +60 °C; storage from -55 to +80 °C. Pollution degree 3, insulation voltage rated 690 V. Mechanical life typical 10 million operations.
