It's the service part you order when the original coil opens or shorts — not the whole contactor, just the coil assembly with screw terminals. Control voltage is AC 230 V nominal, with a pickup/hold tolerance of 0.8 to 1.1 times rated voltage at 50 Hz (0.85 to 1.1 at 60 Hz). That means the coil pulls in reliably down to about 184 V and drops out below roughly 184 V on a 230 V line — important to check if your control transformer sags under load. Holding power draw is 7.6 VA typical. That's the steady-state load on your control transformer once the contactor is sealed. For a panel with multiple contactors, sum these VA values to size the transformer — don't forget the inrush (pickup) VA, which is higher but brief.
The coil snaps onto the S0 contactor's magnet system via screw terminals. No special tools beyond a screwdriver for the coil connections. The coil replacement is a field-service operation; isolate control power first.
