Panel fit and what the RC element does
The 3RT6926-1CE00 is a clip-on surge suppressor for Siemens SIRIUS size S0 contactors — it snaps onto the contactor coil terminals without taking up additional DIN-rail space. The RC element (resistor-capacitor snubber) suppresses voltage spikes across the AC coil when de-energized, which reduces electromagnetic interference and extends the life of the contactor's control circuit.
Physical dimensions and mounting
Dimensions are 12 mm depth, 30 mm width, and 19 mm height — it adds negligible depth to the contactor assembly, so it fits in shallow enclosures where a separate panel-mount suppressor would not. Clip-on fastening means no screws or tools needed for installation; the suppressor presses directly onto the S0 contactor's coil terminals. Mounting position is unrestricted — the suppressor can be oriented any way the contactor sits, which simplifies layout in dense panels.
