What this pneumatic time-relay block does for a motor starter
The 3RT6926-2PR11 is a pneumatic time-relay block that clips onto Siemens S0 contactors (3RT6 series), adding an adjustable off-delay of 10 to 180 seconds with one normally-open and one normally-closed delayed-switching auxiliary contact. It provides a timed drop-out after the contactor coil is de-energized — useful for sequenced motor stops, fan run-down, or hydraulic system bleed-down where the load needs to coast before the auxiliary circuit opens.
Contact ratings across the voltage range — the real switching limits
At 230 V the delayed contacts switch 6 A; at 400 V they handle 4 A, and at 500 V they drop to 2.5 A. Above 500 V the rating falls further — 1.5 A at 690 V and only 0.15 A at 440 V. The insulation voltage is rated 690 V AC at pollution degree 3. Short-circuit protection requires a 10 A gG fuse at 1 kA prospective current per IEC 60947-5-1.
The block measures 45 mm wide by 45 mm tall by 60 mm deep — it clips onto the contactor without extra DIN-rail space. Mounting position is any orientation. The front is IP20 finger-safe per the touch protection classification.
Mechanical service life is rated 3,000,000 operating cycles typical when mounted on a 3RT2.2 contactor.
