The AC coil draws 0.8 W on closing and holds at 0.27 W, so the control transformer can be sized accordingly without overspending on VA. Rated operational current depends on the voltage: 6 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, and 1 A at 690 V, all at 50/60 Hz. The maximum AC-3 operating voltage is 690 V, and the insulation voltage is also rated 690 V. Switching frequency is rated at 750 operations per hour under AC-3 duty and 250 per hour under AC-4. For a conveyor or pump cycling every few minutes, that's plenty of headroom.
The size S00 footprint is 45 mm wide, 57.5 mm tall, and 72 mm deep — a compact block that leaves room for auxiliary contact blocks on the side. Side-by-side mounting is allowed with no derating gap, so you can pack several in a row on the same rail. This helps when fitting into tight enclosures or angled subpanels. All main and auxiliary/control circuit connections use screw-type terminals. The terminals accept 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) solid or stranded, or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) finely stranded with ferrules.
Protection and coordination
For type of coordination 2 (limited damage after short circuit), use a gL/gG NH 3NA fuse rated 20 A. For type 1 (no damage to the contactor), the same fuse type at 35 A is specified. This tells the panel builder exactly what upstream protection to spec. Auxiliary contacts are rated for PLC-level signals: 17 V, 5 mA, so they can switch digital inputs directly without a separate interface relay.
