Siemens 3RT7025-1AG25 — SIRIUS S0 Contactor, 110 VAC Coil
The coil draws 0.72 W closing power and 0.24 W holding power at DC, with a surge voltage resistance of 6 kV. For PLC-level auxiliary contact reliability, the contacts are rated acceptable for 17 V, 5 mA control signals.
Ratings and Coordination
The 3RT7025-1AG25 is a 3-pole contactor with three normally-open main contacts and no normally-closed main contacts. Its AC-3 maximum switching frequency is 800 operations per hour; for AC-4 duty (plugging/reversing) it is rated at 250 operations per hour. The contactor is pollution degree 3 rated for industrial environments. Short-circuit coordination: with type 2 coordination, a gL/gG NH 3NA fuse rated 25 A is required; with type 1 coordination, a 63 A fuse of the same class is specified. This allows the panel builder to size upstream protection according to the required coordination type. The auxiliary switch product extension is available (Product Extension Auxiliary Switch: Yes), meaning add-on blocks can be fitted on-site without replacing the contactor.
Dimensions: 55 mm wide, 85.5 mm high, 91 mm deep — the S0 footprint fits standard panel layouts and leaves room for auxiliary contact blocks on the front. The front and terminal areas are both rated IP20, suitable for enclosed panel use where finger protection is required. Terminals accept 2x (0.5…1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75…2.5 mm²) solid or stranded wire, and finely stranded with core-end processing. The screw-type terminals are standard for main and auxiliary circuits, compatible with common ferrule sizes. Shock resistance is 12.5g for 5 ms and 7.8g for 10 ms sine pulse.
