Siemens 3RT7025-1AP00 — S0 Contactor, AC Coil, 3-Pole
The contactor measures 45 mm wide, 85.5 mm high, and 91 mm deep — a standard S0 footprint that fits alongside other SIRIUS components on a 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 50022. Screw and snap-on mounting is supported. Screw-type terminals are used for both the main current circuit and the auxiliary/control circuit. The front and terminal areas are rated IP20, suitable for enclosed panel environments. Pollution degree 3 applies.
Mounting and Integration
Mounts on a 35 mm standard mounting rail per DIN EN 50022, using either screw fixing or snap-on. Side-by-side mounting is permitted — no spacing required between contactors on the rail, which saves panel width. Mounting position is flexible: ±180° rotation on a vertical surface, and can be tilted forward/backward by ±22.5° on a vertical surface. Operating temperature range is -10 to +55 °C; storage range -25 to +70 °C. The contactor accepts 2 x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) solid or stranded wire, or 2 x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) finely stranded with ferrule, on the screw terminals. This covers most control and power wiring in a standard panel.
Ratings and Performance
Rated insulation voltage is 690 V; surge voltage resistance is 6 kV. The contactor is rated for AC-3 duty up to 690 V maximum operating voltage. At 230 V the rated operational current is 6 A; at 400 V it is 3 A; at 690 V it is 1 A. For DC-13 switching at 220 V, the rated operational current is 0.3 A. The auxiliary contacts are rated for PLC-level reliability (17 V, 5 mA), so they can directly drive a PLC input without an interposing relay. Maximum mechanical switching frequency at AC-3 is 800 operations per hour; at AC-4 it is 250 operations per hour. The magnet coil draws 0.82 W closing power and 0.24 W holding power at DC. Shock resistance is 12.5g for 5 ms and 7.8g for 10 ms (sine pulse at AC). For type of coordination 1, the required backup fuse is gL/gG NH 3NA: 63 A; for type of coordination 2, it is 25 A.
