Siemens 3RT7025-1AV05 — S0 Contactor, AC Coil, Screw Terminals
It mounts via screw or snap-on onto a 35 mm DIN rail per EN 50022, and the mounting position allows ±180° rotation or ±22.5° tilt on a vertical surface — useful when panel layout is tight and you need to orient the contactor to keep wiring runs clean.
Rated operational current at AC-3 (motor duty) goes up to 690 V maximum, and the contactor is rated for 800 switching cycles per hour at AC-3, 250 cycles per hour at AC-4 (plugging/inching). For DC switching, the DC-13 rating at 220 V is 0.3 A — that's a solenoid or brake coil, not a DC motor. If you're switching a DC load above that current, you need a DC-rated contactor or a suppression network. Coil is AC only. Holding power is 0.24 W DC after closure, closing peak 0.82 W.
Width is 55 mm, depth 91 mm, height 85.5 mm. Side-by-side mounting allowed without derating if ambient stays within -10 to +55 °C operating range. Storage range -25 to +70 °C. Pollution degree 3. Terminals accept 2x (0.5…1.5 mm²) solid or stranded, or 2x (0.75…2.5 mm²) with ferrule. Fine-stranded with core-end processing is the same range. The screw terminals are standard for the main and control circuits; auxiliary switch add-ons are supported.
