The AC coil is rated at 110 V, 50/60 Hz, drawing 0.24 A at both frequencies.
The S0 footprint is 55 mm wide, 85.5 mm tall, 91 mm deep. The IP20 protection on front and terminals requires the contactor to be installed inside a cabinet or enclosure.
Ratings and application
For AC-3 motor switching duty, the maximum operating voltage is 690 V. The auxiliary contact block carries 6 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, and 1 A at 690 V — sufficient for signaling and interlocking in most control circuits. Switching frequency is rated at 800 operations per hour maximum under AC-3 duty, and 250 per hour under AC-4 (plugging/reversing). Short-circuit protection coordination: with type 2 coordination, use a 50 A gL/gG fuse; with type 1 coordination, a 125 A gL/gG fuse. The contactor withstands 12.5g for 5 ms and 7.8g for 10 ms sine-pulse shock — relevant for transport and machine-mounted installations.
Coil and control
The AC coil consumes 0.72 W during closing and 0.24 W holding. Operating temperature range is -10 to +55 °C during operation, with storage from -25 to +70 °C. The product extension for auxiliary switches is available, allowing field addition of contact blocks. Terminals accept 2 x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) solid or stranded, or 2 x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) with ferrule. Fine-stranded wire with core-end processing is supported for the same ranges.
