The Siemens 3RT7046-1AP00 is a SIRIUS S3 contactor with three main poles, each normally open, and an AC-operated coil. The contactor mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm and 75 mm standard DIN rails, with flexible mounting orientation — ±180° rotation on a vertical surface and ±22.5° tilt forward/backward allowed.
The AC-3 rated operational voltage maximum of 690 V means this contactor can switch motor loads in 400 V or 690 V line-to-line systems, covering standard European industrial voltages. The S3 frame size (148 mm height, 70 mm width, 139 mm depth) fits within typical panel layouts for mid-range contactors — verify clearance for the 139 mm depth, especially in shallow enclosures.
