Siemens 3RT7916-1CC00 — RC surge suppressor for SIRIUS S00 contactors
The 3RT7916-1CC00 is a Siemens SIRIUS RC surge suppressor designed to plug directly onto 3RT7 S00 contactors. It suppresses voltage spikes from the coil circuit using an RC element, protecting the contactor coil and nearby control electronics from inductive kickback. Rated for AC control supplies at 48–127 V (50/60 Hz) and DC supplies at 70–150 V, it handles both line frequencies and DC coils in a single component — no separate AC/DC variant needed. Clip-on mounting to the S00 contactor front face; no wiring required. The 9 mm width matches the S00 frame and keeps the panel layout tight.
Mounts in any position on the contactor front. The 9 mm depth and 28 mm width mean it adds minimal projection beyond the contactor body — useful when contactors are ganged side-by-side on a DIN rail.
