The Siemens 3RU1116-0FB1 is a SIRIUS thermal overload relay — the Class 10 trip curve means it protects standard induction motors during start-up, letting the motor accelerate without nuisance tripping while still clearing a locked-rotor fault within 10 seconds at 7.2× rated current. Size S00 frame keeps the footprint compact at 45 mm wide, 87 mm tall, 78 mm deep.
Mounts standalone on a vertical surface with ±135° rotation and ±45° tilt front-to-back — flexible for tight panels. Shock rated at 8g for 10 ms.
Screw-type terminals on the main circuit accept 1x 20–16 AWG solid or 1x 18–14 AWG, plus 1x 12 AWG.
