SIRIUS 3RU1116-1DC1 thermal overload relay
The Siemens 3RU1116-1DC1 is a SIRIUS thermal overload relay, size S00, designed to protect AC motor circuits against overload and phase failure. It is a CLASS 10 device, meaning it will trip within 10 seconds at 7.2× the set current — fast enough to protect standard induction motors during a stall or locked-rotor event. The relay mounts stand-alone on a DIN rail or directly in the panel, with a 45 mm width footprint that fits tightly in a crowded enclosure. Rated for AC-3 duty up to 690 V, this relay handles the switching and protection demands of motor starters in industrial control panels. The IP20 front protection means it is suitable for installation inside a cabinet where no washdown or outdoor exposure occurs.
