Trip Class 10 means it will trip within 10 seconds at 7.2× the set current — standard for general-purpose motor starting where acceleration times are under 10 seconds. The IP20 front protection and 100 % relative humidity rating make it suitable for enclosed panels in washdown or high-humidity environments, though the relay body itself is not rated for direct spray. ATEX certification (DMT 98 ATEX G 001) confirms it meets the essential health and safety requirements for equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Mounting and integration — contactor mounting, no extra DIN rail
Mounts directly onto the S00 contactor via the fastening method, saving a DIN rail position. The mounting position allows ±135° rotation and ±45° tilt forward/backward, so it adapts to tight enclosure layouts without special brackets. Clearance needs: 0 mm upwards, forwards, backwards, and downwards — the side clearance is 6 mm to adjacent devices for heat dissipation. Wire termination accepts 2x (0.5... 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75... 2.5 mm²) solid or finely stranded with ferrule, plus AWG equivalents. Auxiliary and control circuits use the same screw-type terminals.
