SIRIUS 3RU1116-1GB0-ZW95 — Thermal Overload Relay, Class 10, Size S00
The Siemens 3RU1116-1GB0-ZW95 is a SIRIUS thermal overload relay in Size S00, Trip Class 10, with three poles for the main current circuit and screw-type terminals for both main and auxiliary/control circuits. Trip Class 10 means it will trip within 10 seconds at 7.2× the set current — standard protection for standard-duty induction motors (pumps, fans, conveyors) where a faster Class 10A or slower Class 20 is not required. The S00 frame mates directly to Siemens 3RT2 contactors of the same size. Rated surge voltage withstand is 6 kV, and the front face carries IP20 protection — suitable for enclosed panel mounting. Mounting position allows ±135° rotation on a vertical surface and ±45° tilt front/back, giving flexibility in tight enclosures.

The 78 mm depth is the relay body only — allow additional clearance for wiring and finger access. Screw-type terminals on the main circuit accept 2×(0.5…1.5 mm²) solid or 2×(0.75…2.5 mm²) solid, plus AWG equivalents 2×(20…16) and 2×(18…14). Auxiliary/control terminals share the same screw-clamp design. Spacing: 0 mm upwards/forwards/backwards/downwards, 6 mm at the side — fits tight against adjacent devices. Operating temperature range is -20 to +70 °C; storage and transport -55 to +80 °C. Shock resistance 8g / 10 ms. Relative humidity during operation up to 100%. Suitable for ATEX Zone 2/22 environment per DMT 98 ATEX G 001 protection type.
