Main and auxiliary/control circuits both use screw-type terminals. Main contacts accept 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) solid or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) stranded — also spec'd in AWG as 2x (20–16) and 2x (18–14) plus a 12 AWG option — covering the typical motor lead sizes for S00 starters. Each pole dissipates 2.2 W at full load, so the enclosure thermal budget needs to account for about 6.6 W total across the three poles.
Protection and Compliance
Carries surge voltage withstand rated at 6 kV, and shock resistance tested to 8g / 10 ms, so it handles industrial line transients and vibration on contactor frames. ATEX approval listed (DMT 98 ATEX G 001) for use in potentially explosive gas atmospheres — confirm the specific zone and gas group against your installation, but the cert is on file.
